How to Change RIP Color Profiles in Kothari

Changing color profiles within Kothari is easy, and its a great way to better understand the impact each profile can have on your ultimate print quality.  Don’t be afraid to try different things!

STEP 1: After opening the desired print layout (in this case a standard White Media layout), right click anywhere in the actual layout area and select Layout White Background Print Settings.

STEP 2: In the menu that appears, click the Properties button.

STEP 3: From the first tab on the next interface, find and click the Load Printer Profile button.

STEP 4: In some cases, the desired profile will be easy to identify – however, keep in mind it is sometimes worth experimenting with other available options!  Don’t be afraid to play around and test new things.  For this example (white garment printing @ 1440 x 720 resolution) we switched to the profile called Epson SureColor P600_SI_White_1440x720 C.kcm.
